As you guys probably know, I’m SO happy with our home redesign. Everything turned out perfectly and each room in our home is so dreamy. One part of the redesign that I am absolutely OBSESSED with would be our new lighting fixtures from Mitzi and Troy Lighting.
Happy July everyone! I am so excited that 4th of July is this week, I love gathering with friends and getting a little extra patriotic to celebrate America. Whether you’re spending 4th of July at home, a family BBQ or on the boat with friends, it’s always fun to put together the perfect 4th of July outfit.
I made a lot of mistakes shopping in early pregnancy. I thought I'd go ahead and pick up some basic maternity pieces because I would eventually need them anyway. Plus, I felt uncomfortable from day one. Mostly because you're bloated into your second trimester. I didn't realized that eventually my whole body would grow, not just my belly. So buying pieces in my pre-pregnancy size that had a place for my belly actually wouldn't cut it.
Now that I’m getting closer and closer to my due date, it’s becoming more difficult to find clothes that are both cute and comfortable. Thankfully, I have recently found that Macy’s has lots of maternity options in the brands that I love. I have found so many fashion forward pieces that fit my current lifestyle and allow me to feel both comfortable and confident all day.
I have been loving turquoise jewelry lately and recently I have found some of my favorite pieces from JTV. They are all so cute and complement every outfit so well. JTV offers such amazing designs and vibrant colors, I seriously can’t stop shopping their pieces. You can tell each piece has been carefully crafted and it definitely shows in the quality of the jewelry.
As I get closer to my due date I realize more and more that time is everything. But I am also reminded to take it easy and not be so hard on myself. Shopping online has already saved my non-pregnant self a million times. So imagine how convenient it has been with my belly growing more and more each day. This is why Hatch Clothing has been my new go to, not only can i pick my goodies out from the comfort of my home, but I know I am getting such good quality items!
Hi guys, as you know I'm 2 years retired from a 6 year COACHELLA STREAK. I haven't really missed it up until this year, but I don't think they allow pregnant women to attend anyway. haha! Hey everyone! We are officially about a month out from spring and I am so excited. Spring here in Phoenix is great because it’s sunny and warm but not too hot, so it’s perfect. I also love shopping for spring outfits because there’s tons of options, thanks to the warm - but not too warm - weather. Here’s a little list I have put together of my favorite pieces to transition to spring with, in case you guys are looking for a little bit of inspo!
For as long as I can remember I’ve been sporting Banana Republic’s super soft sweaters. I love that you can wash them in a washing machine, but they look like they cost you a fortune. This Merino Double-Cuff Crew fits me perfectly. It drapes over my upper body so well. The best part though is that it can be dressed up or down and worn with just about anything.
I’m always on the lookout for cute shoes and when I saw these cute black Aquatalia shoes from Zappos, I could not resist! They are such a classic look and I love it because I can wear them with anything. They can be dressed up for a night out, or worn casual to run errands in, and yes, I really can run errands in these. They are that comfortable! The heel is so solid, I feel totally confident wearing these around and I know I won’t be dying to take them off as soon as I get home.
Now that the weather is getting a bit chillier, I am so excited to shop for some fall outfits! Zappos totally got me started off on the right foot with these cute Blank NYC pieces. I have been dying for a cute and comfortable pair of skinny vegan leather pants, and these were exactly what I was looking for. They are so cute and so chic. They are also super versatile, I could literally pair any top and shoes with these pants and feel totally put together.
Saving the best for last, let’s talk tops! Tops are definitely one of my favorite pieces to shop for. You can never have too many tops in your closet because they come in so many different styles, and I love having options. I saw a huge variety of tops when I was at NYFW, some I was already wearing and some that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on.
I don’t know about you guys, but I am SO excited for sweater weather. I love getting cozy in cute winter clothes and cuddling with a blanket and some hot tea. Fall is totally upon us so I am doing a little outfit prepping. Luckily, while I was at New York Fashion Week last month I got a ton of cold weather outfit inspo. This year’s outerwear trends are all about being cute and cozy and I’m here for it. Some of my favorite chilly weather trends that I saw at NYFW were oversized sweaters, destroyed sweaters, the classic trench coat, faux fur jackets, and of course, black leather jackets.
A constant trend at NYFW this year was definitely on point accessorizing. I'm so obsessed with all of the cute head wear, sunglasses, and jewelry that I saw at Fashion Week. My fave accessory that I spotted in New York was the cutest oversized sun hat in black from Christian Siriano. I love it so much because it goes with literally any outfit. It can be matched with a super casual outfit on a sunny day, or can go with a nicer outfit in the evening to add some dramatic flare. Either way, I'm in love, so I will definitely be linking that hat down below in my list.
The boots are even better in person. I think they are SO EXTRA and I love it. The slouch gives it a bit of a casual vibe which works well for me. I am BLOWN AWAY by the detail and how well they are made.
Another New York Fashion Week has come and gone, and of course NYFW 2017 forecast so many new trends to be on the lookout for this fall season. Let's talk shoes. There are so many up and coming shoe trends that were showcased at NYFW. I'm talking statement heels, suede mules, gold slingbacks, floral boots and more!
