Hotel Overview | Featuring Willow's Lodge

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Willows Lodge in Woodinville, Washington. Willows Lodge is truly such an amazing and magical place and the property is so beautiful. It’s located on five lush acres that border the Sammamish River in West Washington’s wine country. Willows Lodge makes every effort to be the most relaxing getaway. Each guest room and suite has a gorgeous fireplace and soaking tub designed for two and the exterior of the lodge is so green and beautiful.

They have amazing customer service and everyone is so helpful. The lodge employees will even plan you a tour of all of the wineries in the area. They have a fun one every Saturday from noon-4pm called Wineventure. They also offer their guests bicycles to borrow and tour the beautiful gardens on the property with. Plus, there is a scenic 26-mile trail that borders Willows Lodge and runs all the way into Seattle. This trail is such a special aspect of the property and I love that it offers a relaxing way to stay active on vacation. I've also heard rumors of a lavender garden nearby but we were a little too late in the year to see that.

The lodge also has a full service spa on the property and a heated relaxation pool. On Sunday before my departure my best friend who lives in the area met me at the spa for facials. It was the best way to end my trip. The spa is small and quaint, very personal.

The lodge offers amazing dining experiences as well. They have three different spots where you can grab a drink or something to eat. The first one is the Barking Frog Restaurant which is one of Woodinville’s finest restaurants. The second is the Fireside Lounge which has the best live music and cocktails. We enjoyed that space on Saturday. And the third on-property restaurant is Herb Garden. We sadly didn't have enough time to experience this spot but I've heard amazing things.

Did I mention that Willows Lodge was selected for Condé Nast Traveler’s Gold List? So cool! I can definitely see why. Willows Lodge is truly one of the cutest and most luxurious lodges. It's cozy, in every sense of the word.

Willows Lodge is the absolutely perfect romantic getaway. I could also see me and my girls spending a girl's weekend here and wine tasting in the area. For this trip, Hemingway came with us. To say that this resort is dog-friendly is putting it mildly. I was so happy to see other pets hanging out in the designated common areas. These things truly make you happy.

Our room was spacious and stocked with all things for Hemingway. He was happy to arrive to Woodinville after one night in the city. He made himself right at home, and I know it's because he felt comfortable. The fun treats and doggie room service were just icing on the cake. They spoiled my little man!

For the humans, the bathroom was stocked with the finest toiletries and the most technilogically advanced shower I've ever used. It was AWESOME.

The closet was big was extra hangers and plenty of space for all my "looks" and for Kevin's clothes. The bed was extra comfy with lots of pillows, fine sheets, and a great mattress. The air quality in the room tells the tale of the hotel though, and we were pleasantly surprised by how refreshed we felt when waking up. We've stayed at a TON of hotels and lodges especially seem to have extremely dry air, but this one did not.

We spent our days relaxing by the fire with wine in hand. Experiencing world class foods and wines and perusing the property. It would never get old. I did not want to leave.

And for now, all I can do is dream about the perfect Fall pallette that is Willow's Lodge. The crisp air and cozy vibes, I'll never forget you. Until we meet again. . . .

Willows Lodge hosted our stay but all opinions are my own.
