5 Habits For A More Productive Day

  1. Eat breakfast. Breakfast truly is the most important meal of the day! It will give you energy for the day, and I promise you will be less irritable throughout your workday if you have some food in your stomach. Also, try to incorporate some protein into your breakfast as it will keep you feeling fuller and more energized longer.

  2. Exercise in the morning. I love to exercise after breakfast because it gives me energy and boosts my mood. Not to mention, it reduces stress which is so essential during my typical busy work week. Plus, it’s one more thing I can knock off my daily to-do list, so I don’t have the task of doing my daily workout looming over me all day.

  3. Make your to-do list for the day. This will alleviate some stress because it takes the tasks that are swirling around in your mind and gets them down on paper. I’m a pretty visual person, so it’s super helpful for me to see what my day is going to look like and what exactly needs to get done. The best tip I can give you as far as to-do lists go would be to prioritize what absolutely needs to get done. Make sure those tasks are attended to first.

  4. Get into a routine. If you don’t already have a daily routine, definitely get into one! This will help your daily tasks get done without you having to stress out about them, because it’s just part of your routine! Come up with one that best fits your schedule and stick to it. After a few days of practicing it, being productive on a daily basis will have become second nature to you.

  5. Make time for breaks. This is an important one! Take several small breaks throughout the day to breath, get a snack, drink some water, etc. All of these thing will help refresh you, give you more energy, and help get your creativity flowing.
