Homemade Junk Food | Oven Popcorn Chicken + Yam Wedges

Homemade Junk Food | Oven Popcorn Chicken + Yam Wedges

There is really nothing more satisfying to me that homemade junk food. I grew up in the south and am the literal queen of turning childhood favorites into healthier dishes, I can’t help it. When I started my blog back in 2013, I was already creating these types of recipes for a year on my Instagram channel. I missed southern food but was also in just a healthier place in my life. I remember making one of the first ever cauliflower crust pizzas. It took forever and there was so much trial and error! I don’t have the time I had back then, so I stick pretty closely to convenience these days. But I highly recommend taking a Saturday to make this for your family. I swear its a crowd-pleaser.

My Simple + Delicious Sous Vide Pork Tenderloin

My Simple + Delicious Sous Vide Pork Tenderloin

My dad always made amazing pork tenderloin so I’ve been attempting a little of what I picked up from him throughout the years. This recipe is sort of like his, but using the sous vide, of course. You can always roast your pork tenderloin if you don’t have a sous vide. But I’ve been experimenting on bigger meals lately so that one day in the future, when we can have parties again, I can host family and friends!

My Sole Meunière | gluten-free take on a french classic

My Sole Meunière | gluten-free take on a french classic
Sole Meunière needs no introduction. It’s a french classic dish that is always a crowd-pleaser. It can sometimes be a bit intimidating to order at a restaurant and cook at home because the typical french way is to pan-fry a whole sole. This recipe not only simplifies it, but makes it available to everyone, including your gluten-free friends and family.

Never Iron a Blazer Again

Never Iron a Blazer Again

I fell in love with leather and faux leather blazers for the sheer fact that they NEVER need to be ironed. In fact, they need very minimal maintenance. They don’t even need to be washed in the traditional way you wash clothes. For this reason, traveling with a leather blazer is just THE BEST. A leather blazer can really dress up and add some edge to ANY outfit. They are so perfect for winter and transitional seasons when a real jacket or coat is too much.

Frog's Leap Winery

Frog's Leap Winery

I miss the days when we could hit the road and visit Napa Valley in an hour. Though those days are long over for me, so much of my weekly experiences there have stuck. I still seek out Napa Valley wines for the sheer nostalgia of another lifetime ago. Seeing familiar names like Frog’s Leap in my local grocery store sparks such a delight in me! I love bringing a little piece of that to you.
