Frog's Leap Winery

I miss the days when we could hit the road and visit Napa Valley in an hour. Though those days are long over for me, so much of my weekly experiences there have stuck. I still seek out Napa Valley wines for the sheer nostalgia of another lifetime ago. Seeing familiar names like Frog’s Leap in my local grocery store sparks such a delight in me! I love bringing a little piece of that to you.

The Frog’s Leap terroir approach speaks to me on so many levels. Frog’s Leap has actually been farming organically since 1988 in order to keep their vines growing in healthy soil. Some of the best wines in the world have been made from non-irrigated grapevines so Frog’s Leap continues to grow grapes without irrigation. It is believed that great wines aren’t made, they’re grown, at Frog’s Leap winery.

Frog’s Leap offers lots of great varietals, but my favorite is their Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc. Have you tried any wines from the #RutherfordBench or any Frog’s Leap wines at all?
