find it in your freezer

The grocery store can be so overwhelming for a lot of people. It's hard to know when it's ok to buy frozen and/or processed foods and when you should stick with whole foods only. It's nice when we have time to prepare fresh foods and eat them as planned without letting them go to waste. But lets be real here, sometimes they go bad because we were guiltily eating something more convenient.

Hey! That's ok (shit happens). You had good intentions and I'm here to help you not let anymore expensive food go to waste in your refrigerator.

Eating out can cost a fortune and if you're like me, you get tired of it quickly. But since we're not all gourmet chefs we usually wind up eating the same things for lunch or dinner if we're not cooking for someone else. And that's ok if what you're eating is delicious and can be prepared in a variety of different ways.

I want to introduce you to my lazy girl meal. I make this often with several different protein patties. It's not that pretty, but it's REAL and TASTY and EASY.  It's low carb and super savory and I eat it often.

The key is to pick a delicious protein brand from the freezer aisle (whether it's chicken, beef, quinoa, or turkey) that also isn't packed full of sodium and preservatives. Season the shit out of them (no salt but extra extra chili flake). Slather on the sauces (KOW approved sauces, duh) and pack it with lots of veggies.

SO EASY.

KOW approved sauces

paleo ketchup - delish! I put this stuff on everything

arizona territory gourmet mustard - has coffee in it, win win

organic worcestershire sauce - YES and yes

organic sriracha - makes everything better

best brands for frozen protein patties

applegate natural and organic meats

Cook the patty in a pan and add a few bell pepper slices in with it. Top with pickles, tomatoes, spinach, avocado, AND ALL THE SAUCES.

You have yourself a meal, girl!
