sleepy city stuff


I don’t know about you, but when I burn my magical sage candle, things start happening. The air I’m breathing feels cleaner and my surroundings instantly become more appealing and comfortable. I recommend sage smudging when you buy a new home or rent a new space, for that reason… out with the old, in with the new! We’ve all heard about the “spiritual” benefits of burning sage. But do NOT forget the surface benefits that could bring joy and relaxation to your everyday life.

When I light my candle at night, (and turn my Sonos on my favorite calm, meditation Pandora station) it transforms my bedroom into this sweet and soft oasis. It feels like heaven. As I wind down and my mind eases I hit a creative peak, write a little and then calmly fall to sleep. (hello! best night everrr!!)

Get to know magnesium! Without it, we are all off balance. If you’re experiencing stress (or not experiencing stress but want to sleep better) take a supplement at night before bed. Thank me later.

Aloe Vera Juice. . .come on, just a shot. You actually start to like the way it tastes, after a while. It does SO MUCH for your GI tract that your future self will thank you for.
