I like to arrive to my spa appointments early to check out the grounds and enjoy the amenities. This helps me get really relaxed before my first service. I got to the Andaz about an hour early so I hopped over to their restaurant to grab some breakfast. They have this delicious chilaquiles that I CANNOT pass up. I have to get it every time I visit. I had just worked out across the street at Barre3 so I was STARVING — I chose to do that over the hot tub, imagine that!

Early morning strolls through the grounds of the Andaz are necessary. It’s so peaceful with beautiful 360 degree views of various mountains and desert terrain, it makes for a tranquil little exercise!
I checked into the spa and since I had toured it before, I was on my own! I love the peaceful tunes they play. I got in my swimsuit and headed straight for the hot tub. I relaxed a little and then decided to hang out in the quiet room for a bit before my massage. One I got there, I was given a glass of champagne, it totally helped me relax!
The massage I got was the perfect combination of relaxing and working sh*t out! I needed it so badly, new mom plus sitting at a desk all day makes for a rocky upper backside!
Each service was so unique to the Andaz and always featured one of their amazing oils.
At the very end of my day, I actually got to create a custom roller oil for myself to take with me. The oils that go in are based on a quick questionnaire and it’s so unique to you based on how you answer! I LOVED THIS PART.
The spa features a ladies room hot tub and steam room. A coed space with a heated pool and plenty of the things you need to get yourself ready for anything.
They’re now offering 15% off to AZ residents Mondays-Thursdays with the proof of an AZ ID.
