Holiday Style | Mama + Daughter

I’ve been trying to get a Cyber Monday post up all weekend but Squarespace would not allow me to edit my original blog post! So here were are, a rushed version of the initial (this is the third try, so wish me luck!). I only get one shot to get this blog post right, so I apologize for any errors, as I’m not able to edit it once it goes live!

Lots of questions via Instagram on mine and Nixon’s Holiday wardrobe so I’m adding click-thru links below. Most every item is on a major sale today! Just click on something you like and it’s a link to shop :)

faux fur is calling my name this season and I highly recommend it to elevate anything basic

Baby, it was really really cold outside when I started writing this post. We were in Deer Valley, Utah and the snow was pouring down. Thankfully, we had the coziest little condo and we were bundled up in robes, sipping homemade apple cider, and sitting by the fire.

all black winter style has been my go-to this season because I love the contrast with my new long locks!

This year has been a transition not only for me personally, but also for the Collectively Candice brand. It could be turning 34, but it could also be becoming a mom, I’ve really found my own personal style. I am attracted to very classic pieces that I feel will last a lifetime. And since winter is my favorite season because of layers, coats, and more, I wanted to share what we’ve been in this season!

I love a good trend as much as the next person but I’m super picky when choosing the ones that I will wear. Style is extremely personal and it’s important to figure out your own. For me, it’s about picking quality basics. That’s what I feel most comfortable in. And for Nixon, it’s all about practicality. I can’t wait until she can decide what her personal style is, but for now, mama gets to choose! And I can tell you, it’s one of my favorite jobs.
