I hope you guys are having a wonderful holiday season! We are currently in Cleveland at my in-laws home… snow is on the ground, and Nixon is napping. I’m curled up with a blanket and decided to share some of my recent favorite classic outfits.
This winter my closet has been more focused on classic pieces that I can wear for years to come. I have pretty much done away with anything fast fashion, and I am adding things to my closet that actually make me happy to look at. I find myself more drawn to quality fabrics that feel nice and look good hanging beside one another.
Sad but true, when I spend more money on clothing or accessories, I tend to wear them more. My rule of thumb is to never throw caution to the wind and spend lots of money on a trend. Instead, invest in pieces that I know will bring me happiness down the road.
I’ve enjoyed dressing myself a little more this year than ever before. I’m finding more and more that if I stay true to only pieces I feel AMAZING in, I actually have found my true style.
Classy with a touch of comfort, masculine, and modern seem to be what I’m drawn to the most. And every once in a while a trend will catch my eye, so I shop vintage or second hand shops like Poshmark for something like that.
