Kevin asked me to marry him in North Lake Tahoe, California at The Ritz-Carlton. We spent a lot of Thanksgiving's there just the two of us so it was pretty special. We even had our first fight there, right behind it on the bunny hill when he was teaching me to snowboard.

That Magical Day 9.19.15

It was ALMOST perfect. And believe it or not, I didn't stress over the details at all. The only things that mattered to me were that my family, friends and loved ones could be there. But even that you can't control. Two days after my wedding, my niece was born to my baby brother. It was just a special weekend all around. I wanted him there more than anything, but it was just another life lesson on letting go and letting things be. As much as I missed my brother, niece, and sister-in-law, it felt like I had them there once things got started.

Love was definitely in the air.

It was a beautiful day in Sonoma. I actually thought it might be too hot, or that the wind might be too crazy. But it wasn't. The minute my ceremony started a nice breeze blew in and cooled everything off. The weather can definitely not be controlled -- so I'm happy that it was nice to me that day.
