I waited a while to write this post to make sure I was firm on my ride-or-die postpartum products. Postpartum rocked my world. I was SOOOO unprepared in so many ways (physically), but thanks to places like Modern Milk, I was educated and had a support system to share stories and tips with.
I've always tried to to err on the side of caution when it comes to beauty products, food and my overall health. I'm not exactly crunchy, but I do my homework when it comes to my health. I make decisions based on the information available and my own intuition. When I found out I was pregnant, I knew a couple of things I would be dropping right away. I'm ok with a chemical here or there, this is the real world and eventually, my baby will come into contact with said "toxins" at some point. But multiple toxins that are proven to cause harmful effects, used daily in my products, I have a problem with.

You guys know how I struggled with my first trimester. I was sick, tired, and so moody. I welcomed the second trimester with open arms. Most of my pregnancy has been like clock work... you get sick in the first trimester, you get better in the second, you get tired in the third. Yep, I've experienced it all just like that.
