Spa Overview | Featuring Alvadora Spa at Royal Palms Resort and Spa

I recently got the chance to be completely pampered at the luxurious Alvadora Spa at Royal Palms Resort and Spa here in Phoenix. Royal Palms is nestled at the base of Arizona's Camelback Mountain, between downtown Scottsdale and the Biltmore corridor, and is only 7 miles from Phoenix International airport.

Royal Palms offers guests the rare opportunity to enjoy rich amenities of a resort all within the walls of a storied estate. The estate's rich history dates back to 1929 as the winter home of Delos Willard Cooke, a New York industrialist and financier, his wife Florence, and son, Chauncey.

So as you can imagine, the resort is very cozy, it offers lots of greenery and privacy. Regal boardrooms, intimate salons, a stately library and lushly landscaped outdoor function areas are each distinctly decorated to provide a comfortable, estate-like ambiance.

The spa experience at the resort is just amazing. They have the best services such as their calming Vichy showers and hot stone massages. They are also one of the only spas in the Phoenix area to offer the dēhp© experience, an invigorating and non-invasive therapy designed to promote healing by removing creative and emotional blockages.

The spa experience includes access to their heated Jacuzzi hot tub, swimming pool and exercise facility.

I was treated to the most relaxing customized massage and one of their signature treatments, the Citrus Ritual. The Citrus Ritual consists of full body exfoliation on heated stone tables, while water gently cascades from above.

The spa has the most gorgeous facilities. Every inch of the property is just so beautiful. After my treatments I got to spend some time relaxing in their garden tub and private patio area. Their patio area was so peaceful, it even had a raindrop shower and the coziest fireplace.

The resort is also nestled in the perfect area. It’s close to so many shops and restaurants, so it was easy to sneak out for a light lunch and then head back for the rest of my spa day.

This was for sure one of the most relaxing days I have had in a long time. It was really nice to get to spend the entire day here and it was so needed! I definitely left the Alvadora Spa feeling so relaxed and recharged. I honestly can’t wait to go back.
