Sip & Style

Hi guys, Happy Wednesday! Final Exams are in FULL force this week and I am feeling the pain.

To break up the chaotic week, I've joined forces with some of my favorite Arizona girls to bring you another edition of Sip & Style. This week, we're blogging on our favorite "girly" trend for Spring, as well as our go-to cocktail of choice drink. I love teaming up with such trendy girls, like Monic (at Simply Sutter) that was before me. These ladies keep me inspired on a daily basis!

Floral and feminine. This Palisades Top features flowy long sleeves with an open back and frilly ruffle trim. Add on this ultra-feminine print in this lightweight fabric to ensure your most effeminate outfit is picture-perfect.

I don't actually consider myself too "girly"... although my husband would disagree. Fewer things make me feel more "girly" than pink clothes, pink sunsets, and pink cocktails. And my favorite season, Spring, allows for all three. I even get kinda crazy during Spring and wear FLORAL. Pink floral, obviously. Wearing bright colors is all pretty new for me. For at least the last ten years I've bought mostly black and neutrals. So, I'm loving the new pieces in my closet right now!

Sauvetage (“rescue” in French) was born at the height of the rosé craze when the Hamptons reportedly ran out of the newly popular pink drink. This particular blend of Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault was sourced from the ubiquitous rosé region herself: Provence. Sunshine is plentiful in this area and a wide range of soil compositions creates a high level of mineral complexity in the wine. The wine was produced using the direct press method, and the final blend exudes the classic Provence style: dry, pure, and delicate.

When I think of Spring, I think of sitting outside as the sun slips behind the mountains, sipping my rosé as the sky turns the same color. This Spring though, I'm pulling out all the stops and pairing pink on pink on pink. Give me pink bags, pink shoes, and pink tassel earrings.

Phoenix Stud Earrings complete this look.

Make sure to shop ALL these pinks before taking off to Melissa (of Stylista Fitness). I wonder what her trend will be?
