The Amara is our number one choice when we visit Sedona so naturally it’s the resort we chose for Nixon’s birthday weekend. We love the Amara because it is right in the mix of things, except nestled down in it’s own little private oasis.
We also love the Amara because it’s incredibly Hemingway-friendly. We feel so comfortable bringing him as he is as welcomed as we are! He loves it there, too! They have treats and water waiting for him right inside the door… and he’s knows exactly where they are! Each time we arrive he finds his way there.
This was actually our first time to visit in the summer months, and it was so delightful! Sedona is typically about ten degrees cooler than Phoenix, so we all really appreciated it.
Lots of family strolls and some pool time for mama, was what our trip was all about this time around. A good balance of adventures in nature and lots rest. We rarely get to do that anymore.
With 100 stylish guestrooms and suites, Amara still manages to find a way to feel cozy and intimate. The design is a modern interpretation of Sedona’s Native American Heritage — this flare definitely makes it feel “homey”. My favorite thing to do at The Amara is slip into my robe and have wine or coffee on the balcony. The views are unparalleled and the air is always fresh and crisp, no matter what time of year it is.
We can’t wait for our return to the beautiful Amara Resort! Sponsored.
