Who doesn't love Miami? Beautiful beaches, everything has a view, and it's warm at night. From the Art District to the South Beach Night Clubs, there is something for everyone.
I'm the queen of short trips. I recently spent three days in Miami and discovered the really fun things to do that don't involve the beach or the nightclubs at all. Which means a ton of food and drinks. . .and even culture! Yes, Miami actually has that.
Night one: I LOVE The River Oyster Bar. The cocktails were so delish and the food was amazing. Check out how they serve the Dirty Bombay Sapphire Martini - SO COOL. And serious-YUM on the Snapper Filet dish. This place is cute and quaint and can be super romantic. The bar area is super nice and well stocked.
This time of year, Miami can be a bit difficult to pack for. I brought clothes that could be dressed up or dressed down. And, layers. Layers are always a safe route, just in case it ends up actually being cold. Everyone in Miami dresses up (WAY up) so I always felt a little underdressed but I'm ok with that. Check out the last minute choker I ordered on Amazon (I know, right?).
I'm loving this Clinique Chubby Stick lately! Pair it with this Josie Maran Argan Oil and a tan for that peachy sun-kissed glow.
We had a delicious lunch at Cantina Le Viente. Make sure you get the shrimp tacos and a tamarind margarita!!
The beautiful Miami River. There are beautiful views of the high rise buildings and lots of pretty yachts here. You can access this behind The Viceroy in Brickell.
We ended up stopping for dessert at The Ritz-Carlton, Bal Harbour. This resort is SO beautiful and you can eat right on the water while watching the yachts play.
My favorite night of them all is when we went to the Art District also know as Wynwood. The food was outstanding at Wynwood Kitchen & Bar and I was way too hungry to snap photos (the lighting was awful anyway). We pretty much tried everything on the menu. Delicious.
Try the Flamingo Cocktail at Wynwood Kitchen & Bar.
Miami is an interesting place if you look beyond the night life. There is great food and culture everywhere.
