Hotel Overview | The Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa

During our last trip to San Diego we had the opportunity to stay at Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa and we had the BEST time.

We love escaping to cooler temperatures to enjoy some time outside as a family and The Catamaran did not disappoint.

We spent the entire trip lounging around the resort, relaxing on their bayfront property and exploring San Diego. The resort is located on San Diego’s Mission Bay and is across the street from the Pacific Beach shoreline. We were in the best spot central to the beach, shopping and the best food all weekend.

The resort is Polynesian themed with very lush and tropical vibes. It seriously felt like we were in Hawaii.

We stayed in their bayfront guest suites. These suites we’re so amazing, they were extremely roomy and even came with patios overlooking the bay.

We had direct beach access with complimentary lounge chairs and umbrellas so we could easily enjoy a day on the beach, right outside of our room.

The best part of the weekend was getting to experience The Catamaran Spa, San Diego’s only beachfront spa. They offers a variety of treatments with only all-natural marine and botanical elements.

It was so nice to unwind here. Their treatments are designed to match the season and your body’s seasonal needs. Our day at the spa included use of their relaxation lounge, sauna and steam room.

We also loved getting to dine at Oceana Coastal Kitchen for breakfast and dinner. Their dining patio was right there on the beach so we had the best view during every meal.

The resort also offers so many activities. The Catamaran works with Action Sport Rentals to offer activity rentals such as paddle-boards, sailboats, kayaks, surfboards, bicycles, and segways.

The resort even offers nightly boat rides across the bay. The boat features a bar and DJ, and the top deck is open with seating to enjoy the night skyline and fresh air.

The Catamaran Resort is truly an escape. Click here to learn more.
