I recently partnered with BumbleBFF and Hotel Valley Ho to host a girls staycation in Scottsdale, Arizona. As a part of the staycation, Hotel Valley Ho hosted us for a dinner and brunch over the course of our stay at their restaurant, ZuZu. Which offers a modern twist on classic fare. The restaurant had such a nice ambiance that features live music on Friday and Saturday evenings that gave all the good vibes throughout the night. We started off with popping some tasty bubbly to cheers off the girls staycation weekend.
We shared an array of delicious appetizers like the Cauliflower Gratin, Burrata Grilled Bread, and Summer Orecchiette Pasta. My favorite was the Lobster Asparagus Grits which is delicious and a must try! For my main dish I had the Prime New York Strip, which was so flavorful, topped with wild mushrooms and black garlic butter. It was just as good when I took it home for leftovers! As a side I had the brussel sprouts which were to die for! They were cooked to a crisp with bacon.
We had an amazing time topping off the night girl gabbing over yummy desserts & fun mixed drinks like the Sazerac which was a personal favorite. And of course we saved just enough room for an array of desserts including a Strawberry Sorbet that is far from basic & my favorite of the night the Showstopper, which is a fudge S’more inspired sundae. While wrapping up our evening the chef even made an appearance to greet us girls- it was exceptional service and dining the whole evening!
As if our dinner the night before wasn’t amazing enough we were back for brunch the following morning. Greeted with a Mimosa & Bloody Mary bar to start us off with all the Bloody Mary toppings & Mimosa flavors you could dream of. We started off the morning sipping on an array of Vanilla lattes, refreshing freshly squeezed orange juice and nibbling on their delicious scones filled with melted chocolate and fruit flavors.
Every brunch item was picture perfect as each one of the girls got their orders. I had the Valley Ho Breakfast which was delicious and contains a variety of all the breakfast necessities like eggs, crispy bacon, avocado, toast & fresh fruit. Us girls also of course had to share some of the sweet brunch options like the Buttermilk Pancakes & French Toast which were both so yummy & each served with fresh fruit.
I couldn’t of imagined a better place for our meals during our girls staycation. ZuZu did not disappoint! It was a weekend full of exceptional service, crafty cocktails and delicious food across the board!
