The Andaz Scottsdale is such a sweet little place. Nestled close to one of Arizona’s most well-known mountains, it has unparalleled views of some of natures best work.

The best part, for me of course, is that it’s close to home. Why would I pack up and leave my cozy home in the middle of the summer just to stay in the desert? The Andaz makes it a little more special.

The second best part is that it’s incredibly dog-friendly. We like to take Hemingway here when the weather is cooler for wine and dinner on their beautiful patio.

My third favorite thing about the Andaz Scottsdale is that it is neighbors with Trader Joe's. Making it incredibly easy to grab snacks and drinks for your room. Not that you really need to…. but who can resist TJ’s snacks?

You would never know, of course, that TJ’s is next door. But just ask a bellhop for a ride (in their Resort Tesla) and you’ll be surprised how close it is!

The Andaz Scottsdale offers 185 spacious bungalows and suites with mid-century moder design. The rooms have patios, private terraces, and oversized bathrooms.

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. In many instances going above and beyond for my comfort. I was visiting with an injured back… and I was not traveling very lightly. Thank you to all who helped with bags and other miscellaneous things!!

We had several delicious meals at Weft & Warp. Highly recommend the quinoa salad at lunch, the watermelon dish at dinner, and the avocado toast at breakfast. Mouth is watering as I type this.

If you’re looking for a spa escape, the Palo Verde Spa & Apothecary has many great amenities and their services are top of the line. I recently had a CBD infused massage and it greatly improved my life. NOT even being dramatic.
