my energy boosting smoothie

Some mornings I have like 5 drinks to get in everything I need to get my day started. So I've started making this one on days that I just don't feel like peeing all day.

I fill it with superfoods, and call it a morning!

I highly suggest investing in the following items listed below and adding them to your diet on a daily basis. I use these ingredients in all of my recipes often. Links to purchase are below in the smoothie ingredient section.

hemp hearts are crazy rich in two essential fatty acids omega 6 & 3. The protein profile in hemp hearts makes them one of the densest source of plant proteins (source)

bee pollen is the food of the young bee and is (approx) 40% protein. Approximately half of its protein is in the form of free amino acids that the body uses directly. It's considered of one of nature's most complete and nourishing foods (source)

matcha contains a crazy amount of antioxidants and polyphenols. Some of the benefits of matcha include detoxification, strong immune system, clarity, and improved mental alertness. Matcha has also been known to assist in maintaining cardiovascular and gastrointestinal health. Matcha is a great energy booster (source)

ground flaxseed is a high fiber super food that contains the omega 3 fatty acid. Flaxseed is food for the brain (source)

Maca has been used to treat everything from mood swings to depression. It is also rich in calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, amino acids and vitamins B, C, and E. Maca has helped some clear their face of acne and create overall good skin health. It supplies iron and helps to restore red blood cells which aids anemia and cardiovascular diseases (source)

chia seeds are a naturally whole grain food that are non-GMO and free of gluten. They are loaded with omega 3s, tons of micronutrients, and a LOAD of fiber. Because of their size, they've been called one of the most nutritious food on the planet (source)

coconut oil is high in natural saturated fats. Saturated fats increase the HDL aka the healthy cholesterol while converting the LDL aka bad cholesterol into good cholesterols. This in turn promotes heart health and lowers the risk of heart disease (source
