Working out on vacation is not for everyone. I totally get that, but for those who like to get their sweat in different time zones you know how hard it can be to get that perfect sesh in. Hotel gyms are tight, never have all of the right equipment, and honestly they smell weird. Personally I am a studio addict and have probably been to 90% of them on the west coast alone, ya know Soul Cycle for life.
Our last Bumble event at The Bar Method was so fun! I absolutely love whenever I get the chance to mix two of my favorite things: fitness and networking. Our BumbleBFF events are always a blast but this one was extra amazing because we got to partner with one of my favorite bar studios, The Bar Method.

This recipe is my way of saying F U to my overwhelming cravings. I can have my cake and eat it too (whatever that means, never understood that... of course I'm going to eat my cake if I have it?). As you guys probably already know, I take skincare very seriously, so calming my stress and remaining in control for the sake of my own health is a top priority.

I love using an essential oil diffuser to help me relax. It’s effective, but sometimes I feel like it could be doing more. So, I started Googling new ways to use essential oils, and that’s when I found the idea of a DIY essential oil pillow spray! This is truly such an amazing idea, you guys. Basically, all you have to do is fill a small spray bottle with water and a few drops of relaxing essential oils and then spray it on your pillow! This spray covers your pillow with an aroma that induces relaxation and supports a healthy sleep pattern.
One of my biggest pet peeves is the feeling of chapped lips, so that’s why I pretty much always have lip balm on me. It’s definitely a must have because the feeling of dry lips can strike anytime. Especially now that it’s getting chillier out. Trust me, nothing is worse than putting lipstick on less than moisturized and conditioned lips. Luckily, I also have a secret weapon, this three ingredient lip scrub which is a total life saver. Whenever I start to feel that my lips aren’t in tip top shape, I whip up this scrub.
I love a good manicure, the only downside is routine manicures can typically dehydrate and thin
your nails over time. That’s why I always soak my nails between manicures in this super
moisturizing DIY nail soak. This is such an easy and quick beauty DIY, and everything you need
to make the soak is a typical household item. This soak is super moisturizing and strengthening
because each ingredient (only 4 total!) has major benefits.
I'm sure this is is no surprise, but I love having super soft hair. It drives me crazy when my hair starts to feel dry or break off when I brush it. The minute I see any breakage, I know it's time to pull out my fool proof DIY hair mask. I am so obsessed with this hair mask because it's made with totally natural ingredients. Obviously a store bought hair mask may seem like the easier option, but those masks are filled with chemicals to preserve the ingredients inside. So even if you find an avocado based hair mask at the store, only a small percentage of what your putting on your hair is truly avocado! It's way better to skip the middle man and just make the mask yourself. This way your locks only get the best of the best. Plus, it's so easy you guys!
