The Best Pancakes In Town

If you're following me on snapchat you know I've been making a LOT of pancakes. I LOVE pancakes.

And I've actually lost weight, too! Don't worry, I'm not here to talk about some diet-low-carb pancakes that taste like rubber and defeat the whole purpose of a pancake... I'm talking about the real deal pannycakes that taste delicious and also have real butter and real maple syrup on top!

YES PLEASE.

Here's the thing (I'm was debating telling you this or not because I don't want it to turn you away) but they're actually SUPER nutritious too. But, I'm assuming if you're here reading my blog it's because you want to be healthy. So, there it is.

Ok, so anyway... they're super easy too. (And no, they don't contain protein powder, so put it away).

This is not an ad (you can believe me because legally, I have to tell you) I just really LOVE this stuff. It makes my time in the kitchen easy and I have delicious and nutritious pancakes quickly. And, Kevin loves them!

These 7-grain / flax pancakes are fluffy and have amazing flavor. They taste even better because you know they're nutritious!

Flaxseed is packed full of monounsaturated fats which help to lower cholesterol levels and reduce fat. Also packed with a TON of fiber, flax will help keep the system running smoothly and straighten out any blockage or digestion hiccups you may be having.

you will need

1 cup pancake mix

1 cup milk or carrageenan free almond milk

1 teaspoon coconut oil

1 teaspoon ghee

1 egg

real maple syrup

spray coconut oil (optional, but makes turnover easy)

tips

**Follow the directions on the back of the package of pancake mix. **The recipe calls for 2 teaspoons of oil so I use one teaspoon of coconut oil and one teaspoon of ghee. **Heat real maple syrup in its glass bottle for 30 seconds in the microwave. **Spread ghee between each finished pancake. **Enjoy right away!
